Did you know that Christ Church now has a fundraising committee? Members of this committee include Alleida Mitchell, chairperson, Anne Devlin, Mark Gherzo, George Smith and Sheila Swigert.

The committee met several times during the summer months to organize the various fund raising events scheduled to take place during the remainder of 2006.

The First Annual Blueberry Festival will be held on Saturday, September 9 at 4 p.m. – rain or shine! Reservations can be made by calling the church

office at 718-727-6100. Raffle tickets are also available and sponsorship of any item on the menu would be appreciated.

Other activities planned for the year include a Games Night/Night at the Races (more to come on this) on October 21; a Chinese Auction on November 4; the St. Nick’s Fair on December 2, and the Holly Ball on December 9.
