The Rector, Wardens, and Vestry of Christ
Church have approved the following list of rules and regulations for
the use of the parish hall facilities. If you use the building you
must abide by these rules.
- The event organizer is responsible for table cleanup, unless otherwise
specified uner extra sexton services. We will supply the trash bags
and cans.
- If alcoholic beverages are served, the services of a church-approved
bartender are required at $150 for 4 hours ($50/per hour for 4
hours).
- A cash security deposit of $100 (in addition to the regular deposit)
is required from all groups using the Parish Hall to cover any
damage that may be incurred. The deposit will be returned after
the event is concluded, providing the conditions of the
contract were honored. If the kitchen is used, it MUST be left
in the condition it was found.
- No event is to run later than 10:00 PM. The church is in a residential
area and must comply with the New York City regulations for excessive
noise.
- DJs and bands must have insurance policies in effect and must
provide proof of insurance before they will be allowed to play.
- Sweet Sixteen and Bachelor parties are not permitted on the church
premises. There are no exceptions to this rule.
- The event must start and end at the times agreed to on the contract.
- Smoking is not allowe anywhere inside the building.
- No keg beer is permitted; only cans and/or bottles are allowed.
- No tape, staples, glue, or tacks are allowed on the walls. No
existing decorations can be removed or moved without prior permission
from the Rector or Wardens.
- All appointments must be made through the contact person specified
on the contract and not through the church office or the Rector.
All appointments must be kept, or the contract can be forfeited
at the Wardens' prerogative.
- If an event is cancelled within 2 weeks of the event date, the
regular deposit will NOT be returned.
- At the conclusion of the event, guests are asked to be reasonably
quiet on the church grounds, as it is a residential neighborhood.
- Children must be under the supervision of an adult at ALL times.

| The auditorium is a light and
airy space that can legally accomodate
over 200 guests. The round tables each
seat eight people (we also have rectangular
tables that seat ten people each). With
eight or ten tables on each side, there
is ample room for dancing in the center
of the floor. |
 |
 |
| There is a stage for a live
band or deejay, a small room with refrigerators
and a freezer, and a dumbwaiter connected
to the kitchen to assist in preparing
and serving food. |
